Appalachian Claims Experts is owned and operated by Zachary Estrada, an independent property claims adjuster based in Columbus, North Carolina, at the foot of the Blue Ridge.

I came to adjusting from the trades. Fifteen-plus years in construction across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, framing, and trim means I read a loss the way a builder does: how it was put together, how it failed, and what it actually takes to put it back.

Since 2017 I have worked claims from every side of the desk: underwriting, claims examination, desk and field adjusting, catastrophe deployment, and large loss fire and freeze. I have handled files for national carriers, deployed on hurricane and winter storm events across the Southeast, and carried reserve and settlement authority on complex and disputed losses.

The result is an estimate you can defend and a report that tells the whole story of the loss. That is what I bring to every assignment.
